Make sure you have enabled the Plug-in Option in your browser.
To enable ActiveX Plug-in in Internet Explorer, go to the Control Panel and select Internet Options.
Under Security set "Security level for this zone" to medium. Or click Custom Level to make individual settings.
In Netscape you'll find it all in the menu Edit under Preferences, the advanced tab hides the goodies.
